Members were invited to provide comments and questions, which were addressed prior to submission. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c All directors, officers, and key employees are required to complete an annual conflict of interest disclosure form. The completed forms are reviewed by the Executive Committee. Any potential conflicts are documented and addressed per the policy, including recusal from decision-making as appropriate. Compliance is reviewed annually during board meetings and staff training sessions. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Board of Directors reviews and approves the Executive Director's compensation annually. The process includes: (1) approval by independent board members without conflicts of interest, (2) review of comparability data from Form 990s and nonprofit salary surveys, and (3) documentation of the deliberations and decision in board meeting minutes. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 The organization makes its governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements available to the public upon request. These documents are also available for inspection at the organization's principal office during regular business hours. At the moment we do not have a website, as we are just getting started. Form 990, Part XII, Line 1 lhanktonwan Fund, Inc. received $500,000.00 in grant funds from the Yankton Sioux Tribe through the ARPA Program. $250,000.00 is designated for year one and the remaining $250,000.00 is designated for year two. Starting on 9/5/24 through 12/2/24, the expenditures were $1,094.86 for advertising the Executive Director position, which includes a $10.00 filing fee to the State of South Dakota on 12/2/24. Also on 12/2/24, IFlnc., Board of Directors had an expenditure of $56.91 for a board meeting meal. The total expenditures are $1,151.77. The lhanktonwan Fund, Inc., is moving forward and has recently hired an Executive Director. lhanktonwan Fund, Inc. plans to get financial literacy training started soon. This is the first filing since receiving 501(c)(3) status and we have been actively trying to hire an executive director to help get the company going. We have finally done so and hope to start operations very soon!
