It was highlighted throughout the month of February We partnered with the Palm Beach County Sports Commission to provide Golf in Belle Glade, FlWe participated in the Back of the house tour for a third year during the newly named tournament Cognizant We used our platform to encourage the start-up organization (Fl Minority Baseball Alliance) to use our organizations model. As a result, they awarded us supporter of the year award this February 4, 2024.We presented our golf skills camp during spring break at the 10th street community garden in Riviera Beach, FLThe game of golf can be played for many years and its played by many persons in their older years. ICYG continues to introduce the game of golf to the senior population at the Lindsey Davis Community Center located in Riviera Beach, FL helping them with their geriatrics and well-being. We strive to present golf once a month.ICYG Hosted the 2024 African American Golfers Hall of Fame and the African American Collegiate and Youth Golfers Hall of Fame and as a result contributed to the economic development of Palm Beach County by bringing tourism to the area and adding heads in beds which add bed taxes to our county. We held our May golf clinic at Bear Lakes Country Club, approximately 30 youth and their parents participated.We held our June clinic in partnership with the SSAGA at the Fountains Golf Course. We presented the topic of heat exposure during the green side chit chat.ICYG served as the golf clinician at annual Kids Fitness Festival of the Palm Beaches an event that h introduces over 30 sports to area summer camps ( approximately 2500 youth and camp leaders attend)We co-hosted the 4th annual African American Golf Expo & Forum during August 23-26, 2024. In addition, we hosted a golf clinic at the Prince Park Learning Center. We received the AAG Expo Volunteer award during the show.ICYG awarded and presented four scholarships in September to deserving students and continue to find ways to support the student population in Palm Beach County. We also support like-minded organizations in their support of our young adults. ICYG was invited to exhibit at a golf hole at the Boca Bowl outing in October. We were able to share our story with the players and use the platform to fundraise.We participated with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County during their season opener.We had two golf outings at the PGA Tour Superstore. Attendees reinforced their putting and long swingWe continue to engage with our community by annually awarding the community giant award to deserving individuals in Palm Beach county in December at Eastpointe Country Club. ICYG received the PGA TOUR- Cognizant in the Palm Beaches equipment grant with a value of approximately $4500.00 during the event.We facilitated tickets to the Boca Bowl game in December. Approximately two-hundred participants attended.Several strategic sessions and board meetings were held at our home.We are on target to finish the construction of the African American Golfers Hall of Fame Museum and ICYG clubhouse.
