Members in good standing are current with annual membership dues and service charges withholdings on income earned while performing work under the collective bargaining agreements. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a All active members in good standing, which are members that are current with their annual dues and have not retired, are eligible to vote for the governing body, which is the executive board. The positions on the executive board are 3-year terms. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b All major decisions are normally approved by active voting membership in good standing. Any decisions approved by the governing body, which is the executive board, must also be approved by active membership in good standing before the decisions are executed, unless the decisions do not require membership approval as specified by the constitution and bylaws of Local 1426.
