This classical holiday tale features a cast of more than 75 performers dancing over 150 roles, all accompanied by live orchestration from Alamo City Symphony Viva. Each year, we reserve 25 percent of our tickets for VetTix, a national nonprofit that provides free event tickets to active-duty military, veterans, and their families as a way to honor their service. The organization experienced unexpected administrative delays during the fiscal year resulting from two primary factors. First, the acquisition of new assets required formal valuation and supporting documentation that took longer than anticipated to obtain. Second, one of our affiliated programs experienced leadership turnover and internal reporting delays, which affected the timely transfer of their financial records. The board assisted in coordinating the transition and ensuring all required information was collected and verified. During this period, the organization also faced reduced administrative staffing, which increased the time needed to compile and reconcile the year-end reports. As soon as complete and accurate records were secured, we finalized all financial statements and prepared the return for submission. The organization has implemented revised internal procedures to ensure more timely information flow and prevent future delays.
