This includes maintaining working groups tasked with improving housing, education, criminal justice, climate justice, and public transportation. We meet in person and via Zoom to lobby City Hall, state officials, and the federal government about issues vital to our neighborhood and city. We maintain action groups with a membership totaling about 150 neighbors that meet monthly, centered around economic justice, education, environment, housing justice, and healthcare. We advocate for policies, among others, promoting toxic-free schools and affordable housing, and lobby the City Council to pass legislation.
