We would like to offer clarifi cation and request a change to our fi ling period to align with our standard accounting year. We had engaged an external accountant to manage our tax fi lings under a formal agreement, which included the timely preparation and submission of all required documents. We have now become aware that the fi lings were not submitted as stipulated. We were not informed of any issues or delays and only learned of this failure upon receiving the official notice from your office. For this reason, the fi lings are arriving late. We have coordinated with a new tax professional to bring all fi lings up to date in full compliance with applicable regulations. Additionally, we would like to formally request that our tax fi ling period be changed to align with the natural calendar year (January 1 to December 31), as this corresponds with the fi scal period we use for our Puerto Rican fi lings and internal accounting purposes.
