Our auditors were late with preparation of the 2022 audited financial statements for over 1 year. This delay caused a delay in the preparation of filing documents for the 2023 and the 2024 Form 990. This delay was not due to willful neglect - we have historically filed timely, and upon recognizing the delay, we took prompt remedial action. Going forward, we have instituted a backup file access protocol and cross training of staff so that no single person is a point of failure."
