We come alongside homeowners offering financial guidance, grants for home repairs, and home ownership. 1256 Movement worked with Black owned businesses, contractors for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, concrete, landscaping, trim carpentry, real estate, and painting, to develop improved quality and affordable housing ownership for Black families in Tulsa. 1256 Movement builds coalitions with home owners, potential homeowners, contractors, funders, and realtors by paying $10,000 for each new residential construction or remodel.
