The goal is to move these women closer to their long-term dreams and goals. Five committees made up of our members facilitate the grant revenue process. The Committees evaluate grant applications by researching and visiting applicants to arrive at their committee's finalist. Information on the five finalists is delivered to each member for review. An annual meeting is held where each finalist makes a presentation. The members then vote for which organization will receive the primary $100,000 grant, with all remaining funds going to the residual grant recipients. The primary grant winner must sign a grant agreement prior to receiving the first grant payment. In addition, they must provide a timeline with milestones that must be met before the remaining funds can be released. Residual grant winners are only required to sign a residual grant agreement and use their funds on a unrestricted basis.
