We continue our non-profit as 100% volunteer so all donations go towards the purchase and distribution of the food. In 2024 CommonFood "Rescued" close to 137,600 lbs of food that would have been thrown into the landfill. The walk in refrigeration units that we were able to purchase last year have been a blessing. CommonFood provided approximately 85 pounds of nutritional food to approx 200 families on the third Saturday of each month in the Centre County region of Pa. We currently have a waiting list that continually averages 30-40 families. We are currently looking for a new location that would allow for the growth needed. We are 100% volunteer so all donations go towards the purchase and distribution of the food. In 2024 CommonFood picked up over 137,000 pounds of "rescue food" that would have been disposed of in a landfill.
