Through its supported organizations, the organization shall provide services to the retirement community, and the community at large, based upon Christian values that honor the individual's right to retain one's own self-worth and independence in retirement or illness. It is dedicated to providing a gracious environment for individuals in their retirement years, as well as meeting the needs of other members of society, such as those requiring hospice care. The organization shall be guided by the Christian principles of benevolence and service to humanity. We are committed to fulfilling Christ's mandate to love all people through our services and programs, including those who are without the resources to provide for their support. No person shall be denied services on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, or any other basis prohibited by law. The organization is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purpose, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(d)(3) of the Code and shall not carry on any activities not permitted to be carried on by an organization exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
