We have a mentoring program for children who have a parent thats incarcerated or deceased they are matched with a mentor for a minimum of 1 yr. 2nd program is a school based social and emotional learning program that helps at risk students who need guidance to get thru their life challenges and focus on academics. We steer them to graduating high school secondary education and or the trades. The 3rd and newest program is our behavioral mental health program for youth. We believe that kids can thrive if there is positive mental health support for them to excel in academics life and relationships with peers and family members. Often times kids of minority backgrounds who exhibit behaviors often get harsh diagnosis that can lead to the path to incarceration and unforgiveness in the justice system. If we can address behaviors early and interventions they can better operate in the world around them. Children of Promise Mentoring Program COPMP is the mentoring program for children of the incarcerated or deceased. After the pandemic this portion of our program has been difficult to stabilize because the face to face contact it required in 2020. We are trying to reinvent our mentoring option. Therefore it has been underfunded. 72500 71838 Our school based program we call Beyond the Bell Leadership Program. We work with school districts that contract our services. 19400 19400 Our Behavioral mental health program is called The AGENCY of Behavioral and Mental Health that is newer.
