Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c The School provides each board member with the conflict of interest policy when they are elected or appointed. The policy is also reviewed annually. If a potential conflict with any board member arises, the School follows the conflict of interest policy and documents that in meeting minutes. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15 The board reviewed the budget and plans with Charter School Business Management out of NYC and verified compensation ranges. Further the board reviewed local charter school pay ranges (New Roots, Finn Academy and Syracuse Academy of Science). The board also spoke with a former head of charter schools who gave input for the salary range as well.
