It has a population of 8920. We finished the final phases of the project which included adding 15 public distribution points for clean water as well as a cattle trough for watering all the animals in the village. We also held Water Sanitation and Hygiene WASH training for the village including special sessions for the schools along with a contest for improving WASH practices and developing school clubs to continue promoting best practices. We held a menstrual hygiene management MHM training with a distribution of reusable feminine hygiene kits These kits were produced within the area by small local businesses. 36055 0 0 Ikombolinga Village -This village was our 18th village with a population of 7,340 and was completed in 2022. Unfortunately the pipe used for the water mainline throughout the village was defective and needed to be replaced. We have implemented new testing procedures for all materials being used in projects prior to installation moving forward to reduce the potential of having this occur again. 35088 0 0 Local NGO Office -This amount funded our local NGO non-profit office in Tanzania. Expenses this year were higher than normal due to the need to repair our main car after an accident and replace a motorcycle. To operate more efficiently our Tanzania friends established an NGO locally in 2006 named Tanzania Life Project T to differentiate their organization from ours in the USA named Tanzania Life Project. We have 4 local Tanzania people working out of that office to implement all the projects noted in section 4. This entails engaging local service agencies to drill the wells build the reservoirs etc. as well as managing all the finances and other activities surrounding these projects. They have separate bank accounts to keep separate the main functions of the office management and project management. The office staff reports to us monthly on all these accounts and actions taken including bank statements ledger sheets and receipts for all expenditures.
