In our community education is not free or paid for by tax dollars. Most families cant afford to educate their children thus the cycle of illiteracy continues. Caracolie Christian School teaches Science, Social Studies, Math, History, French, Haitian Creole, Physical Education, Language Arts, Bible and English. This past year, food prices have skyrocketed because of lack of transportation vehicles and gand violence/controlled roads. Families in our community simply could not afford basic staples of food like rice, beans, cooking oil, etc. Throughout the year, we were able to help the neediest families in our community with food packs to help combat malnourishment. 52725 Our organization feels strongly about keeping families whole. One way we do this is by providing individuals an opportunity to earn a liveable sustainable wage.
