When I looked into my records, I found that I had started the filing but never completed it. I know the reason for this, though it may not be a good one in someone else's opinion. Just before the year started, l was subject to a very hurtful and emotionally difficult situation, and two very dear friends passed away in the first part of this year. One in March and the other in April. I spent a fair bit of time with my friend, who passed in April, trying to help her clear her home of many items so that she had better accessibility due to her increasingly debilitating health situation. (She was a hoarder) Unfortunately, she passed much quicker than expected. After she passed, I helped her husband with funeral arrangements and clearing more things from their home. I'm positive that with all of that going on, that is why it simply slipped my mind that I had not actually completed the filing of the 990. As you can see from our history, I don't believe we have ever failed to file before.
