<ExplanationTxt>We are requesting penalty abatement due to reasonable cause as we mistakenly have been filing our 990-N under the Calendar instead of the correct Fiscal year. The error was only brought to our attention last year when our 990-EZ submission for the Fiscal year was rejected by the IRS which had us listed under the Calendar year. To rectify this we took several steps last year to comply and correct our filing year. We submitted a 990-EZ for the Calendar year ending in December 2023 and an 1128 form to change our filing year from Calendar year to Fiscal year ending in April. Now that our tax filing year has been aligned with the IRS requirements we are submitting our 990-EZ for the Fiscal Year spanning from May 1 2024 to April 30 2025. Additionally we have been advised to file a short period 990-EZ for the months of January 1 2024 to April 30 2024 along with another 1128 form to confirm our intention to maintain our tax year ending on April 30. Due to the confusion between the calendar year and fiscal year we were unaware that two 990-EZ forms would be necessary for the Tax year 2024.</ExplanationTxt>
