Understandably, she needed to take time away to grieve and handle urgent family matters. During her absence, we were unable to complete the necessary work to file our return on time. As a small nonprofit organization with limited internal resources, we rely heavily on this individual's expertise to ensure accurate and compliant filings. Once she returned, we acted promptly to finalize and file the return as soon as possible. An extension request was submitted by the due date.
