Despite two major hurricanes that severely impacted our city in September and October, Preserve the Burg still managed to host 33 public programs, including 22 walking tours, 5 porch parties, 3 PlaceMatters lectures and the Preservation Expo. We also published Keeping the Vibe Alive: Historic Preservation in St. Petersburg, the first-ever empirical study on the qualitative and quantitative impact of historic preservation in St. Petersburg.
