This is the first time ever filing a tax-return for the 501c3 for our organization and we were under the impression that the tax return was to be returned at the same time as the Annual Report, which is June 30th. We were completely misinformed about this, however, it would be really crippling for us as newly minted institution that supports marginalised populations, to receive a sharp penalty for our lack of information.
