To achieve this, we have established the following comprehensive procedures for monitoring the use of grant funds. Upon receipt of a grant award, the relevant program staff and finance department thoroughly review the grant agreement. Budget Tracking and Monitoring. Documentation and Record-Keeping Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b A review is held with key members of the Board for 990 review. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Joshua Community Connectors makes its governing documents, such as its articles of incorporation and bylaws, conflict of interest and financial information available to the public upon request. The organization's long-serving administrator, who was primarily responsible for preparing and filing the Form 990, suddenly stepped down. This unexpected departure necessitated engaging an outside firm to assist with the completion of the filing. The transition period and the time required for the external firm to become familiar with the organization's financial records and reporting procedures created an unforeseen delay. Despite diligent efforts by the remaining staff to provide the necessary information and the newly appointed firm's efforts to expedite the process, this disruption significantly impacted our ability to finalize and submit the return by the original deadline. The return was filed as soon as all necessary information could be accurately compiled, reviewed, and finalized by the external firm
