Local governmental bodies can coordinate their efforts, effectively solving regional problems that impact its members and those they represent. Through its widespread reach, NorthCOG continues to drive policy advocacy, regional economic development, and engagement policymakers. North COG Annual events: Engaging State lawmakers in a paneled discussion about regional policy. Over 200 elected and appointed local leaders from Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, and DeKalb counties attended and all of their constituents benefited. Time prepping for the luncheon and coordinating with the lawmakers is included in expenses. 21542 Community engagement events involving federal and state lawmakers to drive advocacy for the region. We received no notice between the time that employee left and I took over their responsibilities about it being due until April 4th, 2025. Upon receipt of the Notice received April 4th 2025, we worked to get the report filed immediately (April 8th, 2025). We have set a reminder so that moving forward this mistake does not happen again. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023, a 990-N would've been required. The fiscal year ended June 30, 2024 is the first year that a 990-EZ was required.
