safe stoves safe chimneys smoke alarms ash buckets and get signed up for energy audits weatherization and low-income heating assistance as needed. The project also works with local county state and federal officials to ensure that homes heated with wood are eligible to have their stoves inspected during energy audits and weatherization and repaired or replaced as needed as oil and gas furnaces and boilers are. Part VI, Line 12c We circulate conflict of interest statements annually to be signed by each director and discuss any possible conflict of interest. Part VI, Line 15 The Board of Directors has discussed the fact that its President has been underpaid since the founding of the organization. Until 2023 the organization was not able to pay the President what the Board deemed reasonable. These discussions have been recorded in Board minutes.
