The Charity Guild Shop, staffed almost entirely by volunteers, provides consignment-for-sale and donation opportunities to individuals. The funds raised in the shop along with contributions sustain the organization and provide for grants to non-profit organizations that serve low income children. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6 The Charity Guild of Catholic Women's membership is made up of Catholic women in the Greater Houston area. Active members volunteer in the Guild Shop and vote on major decisions. Associate members and provisional members do not have voting rights. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a The active membership elects a nominating committee annually. The nominating committee recommends a slate of candidates for the executive board. The active membership then votes on the slate of candidates as presented.
