During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, 191 international visitors from 89 countries were hosted by The Albuquerque Council for International Visitors dba Global Ties ABQ under the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). We also hosted a Cohort of 5 fellows from 5 transatlantic countries under the U.S. State Department Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Fellowship Program. Additionally, this fiscal year, Global Ties ABQ continued to connect our local community through various virtual sessions. In March 2022, Global Ties ABQ incorporated the programing of Global One to Onea 501c 3 organization. This allowed Global Ties ABQ to explore the possibility of adding a youth focused exchange component to its programs. Though substantial funds were raised for these youth focused programs it was ultimately determined that the programs could not generate enough funding to support the staffing needed to deliver the exchanges.
