Receipts are loaded in QuickBooks and included with invoices to funders. We also maintain paper copies. Expenditures are in keeping with case plans for clients found in our case management system. Requests for expenditures originate with the Case Manager, they are approved by Housing Specialist or Program Director, and accounted for by the Bookkeeper/Service Coordinator in keeping with the intent and approved budgets of funders. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Midtown Family Services uses an account on boardnetwork.org to keep board members informed of events, documents, and so forth. With this in mind, this Form 990 was uploaded to Form 990 for review by board members with a request that comments be sent to the Chair and Executive Director. Once all were in, this Form 990 was submitted. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c We distribute a form to board members before the first official board meeting of the year to be returned on or before the first meeting of the year. This form is saved to board files. Due to the death of our Founder and Board Chair in early November and resignation of our Treasurer about the same time due to declining health, we had an election in November to replace those persons. Consequently, we collected this form twice in 2024. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 The Chair of the Board reviewed the compensation of the Executive Director, Housing Specialist, Reentry Case Manager, Staff Attorney, and Service Coordinator/Bookkeeper comparing the pay rate to 5 similarly sized agencies in our area doing similar work. Review was done in December 2023 for 2024 fiscal year.
