PAMS Foundation in Tanzania has a broad ecological mission that includes: (a)combating illegal wildlife and timber trafficking nationally and across borders (b) countering illegal poaching & logging (c) supporting prosecution of environmental crimes (d) training and deploying rangers in the field (e) aiding canine detection teams (f) promoting human wildlife coexistence and (g) fostering sustainable livelihoods and inspiring the next generation through environmental education about the value of nature. Reporting of how grant funding is spent is provided to the PAMS Foundation USA by the grantee, further supported by confirmation and independent reports (certified most recently by PwC). Part III Accrual Pt VI, Line 15a No compensation is issued to members of the board and there are no employees. As such, policies and procedures which are industry best practices noted in Part VI, lines 13-15 are not applicable. Pt VI, Line 11b Form 990 is prepared after completion of a financial statement audit. Directors will compare Form 990 to financial statements to ensure figures reconcile. Form 990 itself will be reviewed for completeness and accuracy. Questions in presentation will be addressed to accountant engaged to prepare form 990. Pt VI, Line 12c Organization has a strict conflicts of interest policy. Upon joining the board of the Organiztion each trustee must state what if any conflicts exist, and acknowledge that if there are any changes to their declaration that they must inform the board immediately. Other Part IX, Line 11g - Professional service providers provide services abroad related to development of a strategic plan for the organization in Africa that focuses on wildlife preservation as well for systems design for micropayments technology to combat poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.
