As responsible stewards of the choral arts, FCS seeks to always produce high-quality performances by each of its performing ensembles. In accordance with the group's mission, FCS works tirelessly every season to perform concerts including new compositions, major choral works accompanied by a full orchestra, and multicultural and contemporary music. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Form 990 is circulated to the governing board members by email for review and comments are then assembled, evaluated and reviewed by the Treasurer and incorporated into the filing copy of the return. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c The conflict of interest policy covers all board members, independent contractors, and is monitored by an annual written statement as well as yearly reminders for all independent contracts. The executive committee of the board reviews each transaction to come before the board for potential or actual conflicts of interest. If potential or actual conflicts of interest are identified, the executive committee meets to discuss the situation and determines disciplinary action needed. These actions are then recorded at the next board meeting.
