Any member or attender may speak at our monthly Religious Meeting with attention to Business. We discuss the budget financials and we receive reports and concerns from our various committees. We only move ahead with decisions when there is a sense of the Meeting. If someone feels strongly on an issue where others might disagree a decision is not made unless the individual or group indicates that they will step aside and let the decision proceed. Part VI, Line 11a We present the form 990 to the Meeting for Business and to the Clerk President Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer. Part VI, Line 19 We make them available to anyone who asks. Part X Line 2 | Explanation:| Total Revenues and Expenses We are a small Quaker Meeting. We normally have revenues and expenses of about $25,000 per year. Since before we were incorporated in 1999 we have wanted a spiritual home or meeting house of our own. For many years we maintained and rented a historic school at a local nature Center. For the last few years we have been working to design and build a new Meeting house. We received over $200,000 to make this happen in 2024. We also received a gift from the estate of a member who died. Since we have no paid clergy or staff most of our regular donations have gone to supporting 501c3 charities.
