To achieve this objective we will engage in elections that will elect individuals that have similar political views and values of Firefighters. The CPFF will also be involved in passing amendments and initiatives that would enhance the lives and families of Firefighters. Each member local has delegates designated by membership per local to vote on Association activities. Pt VI, Line 7a Election of Members and Their Rights: Association members vote for the officers of the state governing body. Pt VI, Line 7b Decisions Subject to Approval of Members: The local Associations delegates vote for any decisions which are not normally carried out by the governing board. Pt VI, Line 11b Organizations Process to Review Form 990: Form 990 will be reviewed by the governing officers prior to filing with the IRS. Pt VI, Line 15a Compensation Process for Top Official: The Association member delegates review officer compensation at the annual meeting and determine the pay for the following year based on their recommendations by the governing body. Compensation is approved based on the delegates vote. Pt VI, Line 15b Compensation Process for Officers: See statement for Part VI, line 15a for explanation of procedures. Pt VI, Line 19 Governing Documents Disclosure Explanation: The Associations governing documents, financial statements and Form 990 are kept in its office and are made available to the public upon written request.
