An endowment fund was created by the Board for use at the Board's discretion, such as unanticipated emergencies.In 2017, Camden Conference received a generous bequest of $80,000 to be used for student education purposes. An additional amounnt of $20,531 was received in 2018 for the same bequest. To accomodate the wishes of the donor to serve educational purposes on an ongoing basis, the Board set up a separate endowment fund for education. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c IT IS THE POLICY OF THE BOARD THAT THE EXISTENCE OF ANY CONFLICTS OF INTEREST SHALL BE DISCLOSED BEFORE ANY TRANSACTION IS CONSUMMATED.
