Through this one event we are able to provide an enriching learning experience for not only the students who participate in this contest but also the judges who get to learn from these students. NCFB understands the importance of this annual event that encourages high school students to develop public skills and deepen their understanding of agricultural issues. By investing in the program, Nassau County Farm Bureau reinforced its commitment to youth development, leadership training, and the promotion of agricultural literacy among the next generation. Nassau County Farm Bureau and the Northeast Florida Fair have had a longstanding tradition of partnering together to bring agricultural awareness to Nassau County. Our county Fair is held in the fall each year and serves as a conduit to relay agricultural messages to Nassau County residents who are not familiar with where their food comes from. At the Northeast Florida Fair we set up a booth to promote, educate and raise awareness on the betterment of local agriculture. We also educate the public about our organization's mission and purpose along with ways to get involved in youth programs. NCFB helps to cultivate stronger relationships,promote agricultural literacy, and advocate for a united effort in supporting the future of food, fiber, and fuel production through programs like Farm City Week. This event is designed to bridge the gap between rural and urban communities by fostering greater understanding and appreciation of the vital role agriculture plays in everyday life.
