There is a need for background checks, home assessments, trauma-informed training, insurance and continued oversight for every host family and community coach that is involved in this ministry. One is to engage in meetings with new community partners who need information about our services so that they can pass them on to their clients. MVM conducted approximately 400 different meetings with community partners, donors, prospective churches and volunteers over coffee, lunch, or in large sessions throughout 2024. MVM also provides hospitality services to our host families via clothing, gift cards, diapers, and other necessities needed in order to host children in their home.
