<FactsAndCircumstancesTestTxt>Milstein Medical Asian American Partnership (MMAAP) Foundation satisfied the requirements of the "facts-and-circumstances" test for 2024 and maintained a continuous and bona fide program to solicit public contribution. Foundation leadership conducted regular activities/events to maintain and attract support from governmental or other publicly oriented organizations by proving that the: (1) MMAAP Foundation's scope of fundraising activities is growing and expanding. (2) MMAAP Foundation relies on limited sources or amount of support, while expanding our solicitation program and/or activities. (3) Facts and circumstances of the MMAAP Foundation's case can be analyzed in accordance with our nature and purpose. (4) MMAAP Foundation's public support is derived from a representative number of individuals, corporations, and foundations. (5) MMAAP Foundation's governing body represents the broad interests of the public rather than the private interests of a selected number of donors. (6) MMAAP Foundation provides funds for scientific discovery and research for the benefit of the general public on a continuing basis. (7) MMAAP Foundation's activities are appealing to persons having some broad common interest or purpose. MMAAP is registered with Network for Good, Charity Navigator, and Candid. In 2024, the Foundation earned Candid's Transparency Recognition and ranked in the top five percent of philanthropic organizations for financial accountability. To foster long term relationships with hundreds of constituents, MMAAP sustained a robust donor communications program. We celebrated the Lunar New Year by sending personalized greeting cards to all donors and friends of the foundation and launched our annual appeal campaign in the fall to solicit unrestricted gifts from past and prospective supporters. Throughout the year, we developed and distributed multimedia collateral to support our fundraising effort both in English and Chinese, including videos, brochures, folders, banners, and other exhibit materials, to highlight MMAAP's mission and project opportunities, and we sent holiday and year end mailings to reinforce our appreciation for ongoing support.Throughout the year, MMAAP leadership amplified the Foundation's profile by presenting at a series of major national and international conferences, both online and in person. MMAAP President Dr. Sean Leng delivered keynote presentations and participated in roundtable discussions at the following conferences: " The Academic Conference on Clinical and Scientific Research in Geriatric Medicine, Guangzhou Geriatric Hospital (in-person)" The Guangzhou Senior Nursing Home Academic Seminar (in-person)" The Nanchang University Medical Seminar (online)" The China Biopharmaceutical Lecture Series (hosted by BioTrialMed) (online)" The 4th Interdisciplinary Innovation Conference on Medical Meteorology and Environment (online)" The Shanghai Hospital Management Training Course (organized by Johns Hopkins International Medical Department) (in-person)" The Guangzhou Senior Nursing Home Academic Seminar (in-person)" The Zhongshan Geriatric Medicine Forum (in-person)" The Jinan University Scientific Research Lecture Series (in-person)" The 2024 China Geriatric Medicine & Senior Industry Conference (online)" The "Ruiheng Distinguished Scholars Hall," Tianjin University (in-person)These appearances not only raised awareness of MMAAP's mission but also generated invaluable connections with clinicians, key opinion leaders, and philanthropists in the geriatric fieldBeyond conference outreach, MMAAP engaged strategic partners and its Advisory Board to extend fundraising reach. Foundation representatives participated actively in American Skin Association board meetings and committees, presenting MMAAP's initiatives and soliciting grant-opportunity guidance from Dr. Emma Guttman and Dr. Mark Lebwohl. Dialogue with pharmaceutical industry leaders-including Pfizer, Sanofi, and Johnson & Johnson, etc., helped explore new avenues of support. We attended webinars hosted China Institute, Committee of 100 and similar organizations to fostered relationships with influential experts. We also tailored detailed briefing materials and strategic plan updates for Advisory Board members, including Mr. Steve Orlins of the National Committee on U.S. China Relations, Mr. Mike Hodin of the Global Coalition on Aging, Dr. Gerald Lazarus, and Dr. Pablo Rubinstein, to leverage their networks in support of MMAAP's goals. Targeted outreach to the J.T. Tai and Ping Y. Tai Foundations, accompanied by personalized pledge form mailings, yielded several promising prospects. MMAAP also invited Lester Ross of WilmerHale to join its Board of Directors, which led to multiple discussions about partnership opportunities. In parallel, tailored presentations were delivered to Victoria Hsu of the J.T. Tai Foundation and Michael J. Duffalo of the Ping Y. Tai Foundation, followed by outreach letters and pledge forms to maintain momentum.By the end of 2024, MMAAP's leadership had invested over 400 hours in strategic planning to expand the donor base, and the Foundation had initiated its fall annual appeal campaign, reaching out to both previous and prospective supporters for unrestricted contributions. Since its founding, the MMAAP Foundation has awarded nearly 70 Fellowship and Research Project Awards to support the work of exceptional Chinese scientists and investigators from prestigious Chinese institutions. This support has resulted in the publication of over 260 scientific papers in leading English and Chinese journals within their respective medical fields, all acknowledging the MMAAP Foundation's contributions. In conclusion, MMAAP consistently engages hundreds of potential supporters through a variety of communications, including holiday cards, and annual appeal mailings. Additionally, previously developed materials such as videos, brochures, folders, banners, and other collateral and exhibit materials in both English and Chinese have been distributed to specifically targeted potential donors, key personnel, and pharmaceutical companies.</FactsAndCircumstancesTestTxt>
