It is the policy of University of Jamestown that no Trustee or committee member, or their family members, should derive any personal profit or gain, directly of indirectly, by reason of his or her association with University of Jamestown. Each shall disclose to the Board any personal interest which he or she, or any family member may have in any matter pending before the Board or Board Committee. Any Trustee who is uncertain about a possible conflict of interest in any matter may request the Executive Committee for an advance determination whether a conflict of interest exists. Disclosure statements shall be submitted annually to the Chair of the Board of Trustees, who with the President shall be responsible for the administration of the policy. Compensation Process of the University: Annually, the Independent Personnel Committee reviews compensation and submits recommended changes to the full Board for approval. The committee uses various peer and industry surveys for comparability data, including College and University Professionals Association Human Resources information.
