We have been working with the IRS to try and get our filings complete because there was a problem in the IRS system causing our returns to be rejected. This problem seemed to occur when we changed the name of the organization and the IRS issued a new EIN number in error. We have tried getting this resolved with the IRS over the past couple of years and only recently when we contacted the IRS on 8/7/25, the IRS agent said she could see what was causing the conflict and asked us to give them 4-6 weeks to resolve the issue. We again contacted the IRS on 9/19/25 to find out the status and had a conversation with IRS agent Mr. Flint, ID#1003655222. During his research of our account, he said it appeared that the problem in the IRS system was corrected on 8/18/25, which was based on our call to the IRS on 8/7/25, and that we can now submit our 990 filings. We respectfully request the penalties be waived due to circumstances beyond our control within the IRS system.
