They are Members, but there are no stockholders. Member election for additional members Part VI line 7a Members elect the Board of Directors (Governing Body) annually. Members of the Corporation consist of families who have complied with the requirements set forth in the bylaws as follows: Have an individual who actively participates in the synchronized swimming program, have paid the annual dues and have one individual who actively participates in the activities of the organization. Governing body decisions Part VI line 7b Members in good standing elect the Board of Directors. There may be certain decisions made by the Board (Governing Body) that require a vote by all Members. Form 990 governing body review Part VI line 11 The Board (Governing Body) is provided with a Draft Copy of the Tax Return to review before it is signed and filed. Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12c There is a Conflict of Interest Policy on file. It is the Boards responsibility to monitor compliance and document any potential conflict of interest. Each Officer, Director and Board Member complete a Conflict of Interest acknowledgement when they are elected.
