I was unaware that we had to file the 990-EZ as well this year which was the reason for the late filing. Additionally, we never received notice from the IRS to submit the 990-EZ only a confirmation mail stating that our 990-N was successfully filed. We found out through this website, Guidestar, that our status as a non-profit organization was in jeopardy for not filing the 990-EZ for the past 3 years.
