The conference is a vital resource for Indiana K-12 educators because of its affordability and accessibility. The conference has 182 vendor booths set up to display various K-12 hardware/software services. Sessions are presented by volunteers from school districts, vendors and HECC board members. Attendees who come for 2 or 3 days receive that years selected conference technology tool. Several sessions are geared towards using this tool in a K-12 learning environment. Previous conference technology tools have been a Samsung Chromebook, a Sphero II Robotic Ball paired with a Toshiba 7 Encore Tablet, a LEGO Mindstorm Robotic Kit, an Amazon Echo, a Ricoh Theta 360 Camera, a Lenovo VR Solo Headset, a Chatterbox, a Toybox 3D Printer, and a Hopper Drone by FTW Robotics.
