Feeding Hearts Program Homelessness Support Purpose: Provide meals essential items and access to basic services for Austins unhoused population. Accomplishments: Served over 20,000 hot meals and beverages to individuals experiencing homelessness at the Oasis at the ARCH in Downtown Austin and encampments. Distributed clothing hygiene kits and coordinated access to free vision glasses and health insurance via local partnerships. Provided mental health support through wellness conversations and resource referrals. Held over 30 outreach events creating safe spaces for the unhoused to feel seen heard and cared for. Accomplishments: Delivered afterschool programs focused on empowerment literacy and mentorship. Hosted Empowerment Days for youth particularly young girls teaching leadership confidence and goal setting. Partnered with the 2Gen Coalition to support single mothers with access to higher education and child care. Accomplishments: Organized breast cancer awareness events in partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Center and local plastic surgeons. Distributed informational materials in both English and Spanish and hosted open Q&A sessions.
