In 2024 the recipients were: Amity Teen Center (10% sponsor of teen intern at facility that provides used medical equipment at low cost), Orange Historical Society, Town of Orange fireworks on July 4th, Town of Orange playground, Orange Afghan Ladies, Orange Players Association (community theatre), Orange Cultural Arts, Camp Cedarcrest, Orange Community Women, and Orange Memorial Day parade. 10000 0 0 One grant was $10,000 to the Town of Orange to re-cinder the walking path between the Town Hall and the High Plains Community Center. It had been over 20 years since maintenance had been performed on this walkway. We publicize the recipients of our scholarships and community grants so that potential donors can see the good that we do for people, so that they can see how their donation could help their community. This was paid directly to Providence College. 1 7100 0 Scholarship Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 All organizations receiving grants must report back their use of funds, Since all grants are awarded in our town, we can (and often) verify any grant award. All individuals must furnish a school transcript to prove eligibility. All individuals receiving scholarships have their scholarship paid directly to the college that they are attending. In the rare cases where an individual does not attend that college, the college returns the funds and we cancel the scholarship.
