Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 Parents are considered members of the school. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a Parents (members) have the ability to elect members to the Board of Directors. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b Prior to submitting Iroquois Point Preschool's Form 990 to the IRS, the form and its related schedules and workpapers are sent to each of the members of the Board of Directors for review. The forms, schedules and workpapers are sent in PDF copies, usually via email. It is also made available in printed format in the school's office. All board members just give their consent and final sign-off on the return in its entirety prior to being filed. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c Iroquois Point Preschool has a Conflict-of-Interest Policy for which each Director and Officer must adhere to. Each Director and Officer is required to read the policy and sign a Director and Officer Conflict of Interest Statement annually that confirms the following: 1) They have received a copy of the Conflict-of-Interest Policy; 2) They have read and understand the Conflict-of-Interest Policy; 3) They agree with the Conflict-of-Interest Policy; 4) They understand the Corporation is charitable and in order to maintain its federal tax exemption it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish one or more of its tax exempt purposes. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15 Compensation review of ALL employees and officers is conducted during the school's annual budget review. Salaries of all persons paid by Iroquois Point Preschool are reviewed by the Board of Directors prior to being put into place. During the annual budget review process, salaries are determined using comparability data of compensation in the greater Oahu area based on position, education and experience. Annual raises are also reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors during the budget review process. The budget review process is done electronically via email. The budget is sent in excel format to each director and a return approval or sign off from each director is required for approval. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 Iroquois Point Preschool's Articles of Incorporation can be located on the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs website. The school's Conflict of Interest Policy and financial statements are available for review by the members upon request at the school.
