I called the IRS and the agent saw the error and corrected it and noted the file. She requested that I refile this return immediately. This organization cannot afford a penalty for late filing and, further, feels that it should not be assessed a late fee due to an IRS error and no error committed by this organization. PLEASE NOTE: Our fiscal year end date had always been June 30th of each year since it was incorporated in 1945.
