We shifted our service model from a national/international residential program to a gender-inclusive outpatient-based program to include the child's whole family. In our decades of experience, we understand the important role caregivers and family members play throughout the treatment process. When children,parents, siblings and family members have access to support, everyone can benefit and family connections improve. In the summer of 2022 we launched two programs, an intensive outpatient program and a traditional outpatient program to help people connect to themselves, their families and their communities. The cost of mental health treatment is one of the primary barriers to services, consequently, Decade2Connect has provided free and/or reduced rate services to 45% of the families we served in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.In addition to financial barriers parents often state they aren't sure where to go when their family or child is experiencing mental health challenges. To address accessibility barriers for families in the 23-24 fiscal year, we have connected with over 200 different providers throughout the front range to create a referral network so that parents can connect with us or we can refer them to another provider. Our Board of Directors is committed to reducing barriers to services and providing quality programs that improve relationships for people.
