While providing students with immediately applicable, practical skills, our comprehensive, health science-centered curriculum also equips students with the tools they need to succeed as they progress to the post-secondary level. Our dual credit and Associates Degree opportunities as well as certifications in CNA, EMT, and Rehabilitation Services provide our students a springboard into their Pre-Med, Nursing, Paramedics, and Medical Assisting degrees. The Executive Committee consists of three board members, one of which is the President of the Board. The actions of the Executive Committee during the time between regular board meetings shall be agenda items at the next regular meeting of the entire board and will be approved or disapproved at that time. If a Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School (MMACHS) Board Member has a conflict of interest, they recuse themselves from voting on the issue brought before the MMACHS Board. This is noted in the MMACHS Board Minutes. Further, if an allegation arises of whether or not there is a conflict of interest and the actions of the Board Member are questioned, the information is brought before the authorizer of the charter: Joint School District #2. The Joint School District #2 Board of Trustees reviews conflict of interest allegations. Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15a The organization does not determine compensation directly; principal, teacher, and classified pay is set per Meridian Medical Arts Charter District salary schedules. Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School reviews compensation annually each year and it is set based upon Idaho State Legislature. Form 990, Part VI, Section C, line 19 The organizations's financial statements are available on the organizations's website for public inspection. Form 990, Part VII, Column F: The Organization participates in the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho, a defined benefit plan, due to the size and varied participants in this plan the actuarial value is not calculated on a per employee basis. The amount included in column F for deferred compensation includes the actual contributions to the plan, but does not include any amount for a reasonable estimate of the increase in actuarial value.
