An RFP process is used to solicit requests for funds, and an approval process involving multiple MNCASA staff determines grant awards. Programmatic performance and sub-grantee expenditures are monitored throughout the grant period by MNCASA's Executive Director, as well as the program area Director. Regular communication between MNCASA and sub-grantees coupled with a formal report schedule ensure appropriate use of grant funds. These members include sexual assault advocacy programs, ally programs and individual members throughout the state. Members receive tools, resources, and training each year to improve the effectiveness of anti-sexual violence programs in Minnesota. Annual membership dues account for 1.1% of MNCASA's total revenue. In addition, pay rates and salary ranges are also set up by individual recognition of education, knowledge, skill, and experience needed to perform each job.
