These essential renovations will improve accessibility and maintain the integrity of this historic landmark. There is congestion on the platform and a potential for injury when navigating up down the ramp. The replacement project will help with congregation traffic flow and the addition of two railings will increase safety. The project is subject to the outcome of an appeal made by the parishioners of the church to Rome. The parishioners were successful in their first appeal. The Diocese of Youngstown has issued a second merger decree and the parishioners have appeal to Rome a second time. Once our organization knows that the funds to fix the church will be handled by St Stephen Church it will begin the process of funding their project.
