MISSION: The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy. National Philanthropy Day Celebration on November 5, 2025: The chapter held its annual NPD event honoring philanthropic individuals and businesses and celebrating the impact of philanthropy in our community. Approx. 150 people attended the gathering. Membership: AFP representes more than 25,000 members worldwide. The RI chapter averages approx. 100 members and engages with members and nonmembers alike to promote ethical and effective fundraising.
