All agreements entered with funding recipients specify that the funds in question will be used only for the specific purposes enumerated in the agreement (typically the payment of litigation expenses and/or legal fees in the lawsuits supported by EDLC). Recipients of funding are also required to report to EDLC on their expenditures and their progress in the case at least once per year. EDLC is also typically in contact with funding recipients throughout the year to monitor case progress and the use of funds.
