This deposit is $2,500 for a debenture of $250,000 or more; for debentures of less than $250,000, the deposit will be one percent of the net debenture proceeds as shown in the loan application or $1,000, whichever is greater. If the loans are approved the applicant's deposits are returned and the Alliance is compensated at the loan closing from proceeds of the loan. Should the applicant choose to terminate the process the Alliance is compensated from the applicants deposit at an hourly rate of $166. The balance in the escrow account at December 31, 2024 and 2023 represents loan applications in process and there is a matching amount in an escrow cash account. Schedule D, Part X, Line 2 The Alliance believes there are no unrecognized tax benefits that should be recorded. For the years ended December 31, 2024 and 2023, there were no interest or penalties recorded or included in the statements of activities related to taxes. The Alliance is still open to examination by taxing authorities from 2021 forward. FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 8A The organization has 27 members which are representative of the community in which it operates and include at least two members from the following four groups: local government, private lending institutions, community organizations, and business organizations.
